From 8 to 18 June, Fort Pienc will be decked out to celebrate its main festival with a programme packed with around sixty fun, festive, traditional and cultural activities.

The Associació de Veïns i Veïnes del Fort Pienc has coordinated the Festa Major programme, with the collaboration of many neighbourhood organisations. The result is a wide range of activities for all tastes and ages, which will take place mainly in streets, squares and public spaces.

The programme includes the highlights of popular culture, such as the colourful procession of giants, the impressive display of castellers, the exciting evening of havaneres singing and the dazzling correfocs of La Cabrònica del Nord.

The festive offer also includes popular meals, live music, workshops, exhibitions and tours to discover the neighbourhood and its history. Not forgetting sporting events and an inclusive children's morning for all children and their families.

This year, the opening speech will be given by the Casal de Joves Xiroc in honour of its 30th anniversary. The reading of the proclamation will take place on 8 June at 20:00 in the Plaça del Fort Pienc.
