Barcelona Nord Bus Station is taking another step in its transformation by launching the first phase of works to improve the station's spaces and services. This initial phase is being carried out with the aim of continuing to provide an excellent experience for travellers while minimising disruptions during the construction period.
To facilitate movement within the station, adapted routes have already been implemented, along with enhanced signage to guide users through entrances and exits. This ensures that passengers can continue using the station while the renovation process progresses.
This transformation strengthens Barcelona Nord’s role as a tourist mobility hub, with a strategic location and improved connections to other transport modes, promoting intermodality with the metro and Rodalies. Furthermore, the project aims to enhance integration with the surrounding area and revitalise the Eix Fort Pienc district, creating a more accessible space.
The planned works will consolidate all services onto a single floor and improve passenger flows, reinforcing the station as a key reference point for national and international connections. This first phase of works is a crucial step in the renewal process, which will ultimately result in a more functional, efficient station that meets the needs of today’s travellers.
